Welcome to restaurant Dartel's website.
The beginning...
We opened the doors of our restaurant on September 20th 2008.
Our restaurant is a combination of old and new, classic and modern.
This combination is reflected in our interior: transparent and contemporary but at the same time retaining the beautiful old ceiling, original Delft blue tiles and an historic tiled wall that belonged to the butcher's shop that was here in former days.
This combination of old and new repeats itself in our dishes: the basis of our cuisine is the classic French kitchen but we playfully combine this with contemporary cooking techniques.
Our kitchenbrigade work with requirements that have found their
way into our restaurant by the shortest possible route.
Furthermore they pay the utmost attention to the produce they come across daily at our regular suppliers.
From the produce that's on offer they choose the best seasonal ingredients which they use to create our menu ‘Dartel’.
They have also created an à la carte menu with various dishes that reflect the season.
We look forward to the privilege of getting to know you and of acquainting you with our restaurant,
